(A) Written Competitive Examination: i) After scrutiny of the application forms, the eligible candidates whose application forms are found to be correct will be called for the written competitive examination. There will be twO question papers in this examination. (ii) First Paper - General Hindi Paper: This paper will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 100 marks. It will be mandatory to obtain a minimum of 30% marks in this paper to be declared qualified. For each correct answer, 02 marks will be awarded, and for each incorrect answer, 0.2 markS will be deducted. The duration of the first paper examination will be one hour, and the marks obtained in the General Hindi paper will not be added to the merit list. (ii) Second Paper - General Studies and Aptitude Test: This paper will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions related to General Knowledge and Current Affairs, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, and Mental Ability, carrying a total of 300 marks. The duration of the examination will be two hours. For each correct answer, 03 marks will be awarded, and for each incorrect answer, 0.3 marks will be deducted. (iv) Based on the marks obtained in the written examination, up to six times the number of vacancies, category-wise, candidates will be called for the interview. However, if a sufficient number of eligible candidates are not available in that ratio, a lower number of candidates may be called for the interview. (B) Interview: In the interview, the overall personality and suitability of the candidates for the post will be assessed. The total marks for the interview will be 50. The marks obtained in the interview will be added to the marks obtained in the written examination to prepare the final merit list. |
